FRANS VAN DER VAART : The looping lights of Lille. 2002
Voor de achtergevel van het Grand Hotel Bellevue in Lille was, als onderdeel van de kerstkermis 2002, een reuzenrad opgebouwd. De nietsvermoedende reiziger die daar een kamer had besproken, kon de camera eenvoudig op het 'franse balkon' van de hotelkamer plaatsen om het alsmaar rondlussende licht te vangen.

In front of the backside of the Grand Hotel bellevfue in Lille a Ferris wheel was built as part of the christmas fair 2002. The unsuspecting traveller who booked a room on that side, could just position his camera on the 'french balcony' in order to capture the continuously rotating light
